DSC_0323WHAT’S FOR DINNER?
Chapmans invites you to “Build Family Time with Great Food.” Life is busy and too short to drive through every dinner on the way to the ball field and dance studio. We enjoy helping our customers. We offer excellent family meals at great prices. Menus change so you always can find something fresh. Now you can have the luxury of a Chef’s creations at home; just heat and serve without the clean-up. Click here to see this week’s Carry Out Meals.

Chapmans Cafe is locally owned and operated by Chef Bert Chapman and his wife, Andrea. As busy parents, they know what it takes to please a family at meal time. They offer great food and hope to make your family’s dinner a little bit easier!

Andrea grew up in Texas with a family of good cooks and a love of great food. Bert grew up in the small, resort town of Destin, Florida. There, he was exposed a world of culinary possibilities and his career progressed. He continued working his way across the gulf coast until an executive chef at the Hilton in New Orleans encouraged Chapman to attend the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). After completing culinary school, Chapman returned to the Gulf Coast via an internship at Criollas in Grayton Beach, working with chef/owner Johnny Earls. Once again, Chapman left the coast and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He and Andrea reside in Sandy Springs with their two young daughters. They are excited about the opportunity to share Chapmans food and flavors with your family.

A RECIPE FOR SUCCESS.
Chef Bert Chapman’s culinary experience is a “Who’s Who” of Top Chefs and Atlanta’s favorite restaurants including, Kevin Rathbun at Buckhead Diner (now at Rathbun’s), and Anne and Cliff Quatrano at Bacchanalia and Star Provisions. Chapman was also the Executive Chef at Vickery’s and Highland Tap. Looking to spend more time with his newly born daughter, Chapman left the late night hours and became a popular personal Chef in 2014. He and his wife purchased the local cafe, “A Royal Affair,” in the summer of 2015. They knew this quaint, neighborhood location is the perfect spot to share great food with friends and family. Now he greets customers by name and has become a local favorite. Stop in and introduce yourself-we love knowing our customers.

WELL DONE!
Chef Chapman’s passion for preparing delicious food comes from a family tradition of good, southern cooking. He is inspired by local, seasonal ingredients and pulls in world-class flavors. The menu is always changing to keep it fresh and exciting. Stop by the Cafe and taste for yourself!
